Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Tour #
Login to your dashboard: Use your credentials to log into your Tripcart dashboard.
Creating a Tour #
- Navigate to the Tours section:
- In your dashboard, find the Tours option.
- Click on Tours to access the tour management section.
- Add a New Tour:
- In the Tours section, you will see an Add New Tour button.
- Click on the Add New Tour button to start creating a new tour.
Tour Creation Options #
While creating a tour, you will be presented with multiple options to fill out, organized into various sections and tabs.
The main sections are as follows:
General: #
This is the first tab/section you will encounter while creating a tour. It includes the following fields:
- Section Title: Enter the Tour Title in this section.
- URL: After adding the Tour Title, the URL for the tour will be automatically generated. You can modify this URL as needed.
- Duration: Specify the tour duration in Days or Hours.
- Age Range: Specify the appropriate age range for participants.
- Destination: Enter the destination for the tour.
- Activities: List the activities included in the tour.
- Difficulty Level: Indicate the difficulty level of the tour (e.g., Easy, Moderate, Difficult). Please refer to this link for information on how to add a new difficulty level.
- Description: Provide a detailed description of the tour.
- Add Gallery: Upload images related to the tour to create a gallery.
Itinerary: #
This tab/section allows you to create a detailed itinerary for the tour. Under this section, you need to fill out the following details:
- Section Title: Provide a title for the itinerary section.
- Itinerary Day: Specify the day of the itinerary (e.g., Day 1, Day 2).
- Itinerary Title: Enter a title for the day’s itinerary.
- Itinerary Description: Provide a detailed description of the day’s activities and highlights.
- Accommodation: Specify the accommodation details for the day.
- Meals: Choose information about the meals included (e.g., Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner).
- Add Gallery: Upload images related to the day’s itinerary.
Includes: #
This tab/section allows you to define what services are provided and not provided on the tour. You need to fill out the following details:
- Includes Title: Enter a title for the includes section.
- List of Includes: List all the services and items that are included in the tour.
- Excludes Title: Enter a title for the excludes section.
- List of Excludes: List all the services and items that are not included in the tour.
Price: #
This tab/section allows you to set the pricing details for the tour. You will find default pricing categories, which include Adult and Child. Fill out the following details:
- Selling Price (USD $): Enter the selling price for each category.
- Crossed Price (USD $): Enter the crossed-out price in USD (optional). This can be used to show a discounted price for the tour.
- Min Pax.: Specify the minimum number of participants required for the tour.
- Max Pax.: Specify the maximum number of participants allowed for the tour.
- Group Discount: Add options for group discounts. You will find multiple options to specify different discount rates based on group size.
Note: You can add various pricing categories as per your requirements. For each new pricing category, you need to add the same details (Selling Price, Crossed Price, Min Pax, Max Pax, Group Discount). For more information on how to add different pricing categories, refer to this link.
Date: #
This tab/section allows you to add different multiple dates for the tour. Fill out the following details:
- Buffer time: Enter the buffer time between tours. You can specify the buffer time as either days or hours.
- Starting Dates: Add multiple starting dates for the tour.
Add-ons: #
This tab/section allows you to add additional services for tours. The add-ons make it easier for tour operators to add services like airport pick-up, hotel drop-off, vehicle rental, or any other services you want to the tours. Tour operators and travel agencies can specify the extra services and their rates while creating the package. Later, travellers can book the package along with extra services at a specified additional cost.

Tour Info: #
This tab/section allows you to add default Tour Info that has already appeared during the tour creation process. You can also add new tour info by clicking the Add Tour Info button. Fill out the following details:
- Name: Enter the name of the tour info.
- Icon: Choose an icon to represent the tour info.
Map: #
This tab/section allows you to provide a map of the tour. You need to choose either a Map Iframe or a Map Image. Fill out the following details:
- Section Title: Enter a title for the map section.
- Map Iframe: If you choose to use a map iframe, paste the iframe code here.
- Map Image: If you choose to use a map image, upload the image file here.
Note: You need to choose either Map Iframe or Map Image
FAQs: #
This tab/section allows you to add Frequently Asked Questions to your tour. Fill out the following details:
- Section Title: Enter a title for the FAQs section.
- Add FAQs: Add individual questions and answers:
- Question: Enter the FAQ question.
- Answer: Provide the answer to the question.
- Add FAQs section
- Enter Subtitle: Enter a subtitle for the FAQs section if needed.
Others: #
This tab/section allows you to add any additional text or descriptions about the tour.
