Tripcart offers a simple and effective feature that enables you to configure your email provider. Follow these steps to set up your email provider:
Access Email Settings: #
- Navigate to your Dashboard.
- Go to Email Notifications > Settings.
- Here, you will find the option to choose your email provider.
Choose Email Provider: #
You can use any SMTP service provider of your choice by selecting the “Other SMTP” option from the Email SMTP Provider dropdown menu.
After selecting this option, you’ll be able to manually configure the SMTP settings for your preferred external service. This means you can connect providers such as Gmail SMTP, Outlook, Brevo, Zoho Mail, or any other external SMTP service by entering the correct host, port, username, password, and encryption details provided by your email service.
Configuring External SMTP Service #
If you choose Others, you will need to provide the following SMTP details:
- SMTP Host: Enter the SMTP server address provided by your email service provider.
- SMTP Port: Enter the port number used by your SMTP server. Common ports are 25, 465, and 587.
- SMTP Username: Enter the username associated with your email account.
- SMTP Password: Enter the password for your email account.
Once you have entered these details, save your settings to enable email notifications using your chosen SMTP provider.

Configuring Sender Details: #
In addition to SMTP settings, you may need to configure the sender details:
- From Name:
- Enter the name that you want to appear as the sender in email notifications.
- From Email:
- Enter the email address that will appear in the “From” field of the email notifications.
Make sure to review and confirm all settings to ensure that your email notifications are correctly configured and sent through the desired email provider.
